As overjoyed as I am to know that Finn made it out alive, so many others like Mercedes Jones, Lauren Zizes, Matt Rutherford, Melody Koenig, Abigail Morris, and many of your family members weren't so lucky. What is the school doing to honor their memory? Whatever that is, I want to help. It'll help me take my mind off my situation, being back in my chair, if I can turn my attention outwards and focus on remembering these dear friends.

I don't know if I can go back. To McKinley. My parents and I are investigating the possibility of me transferring to Dalton. I'm really sorry, guys, but after all that's happened... I need a fresh start.

So, it took a lot longer than my other injuries (broken legs, spinal cord injury, etc.) for this healing to happen but... I'm noticing improvements in my vision. Like, major improvements. My glasses were making my head hurt today. I took them off and it got better. Not 20/20 yet, but it sure would be nice to ditch the goggles when I'm on the field.

That's all.

Oh, wait, no it's not. I'm apparently the hot topic on JBI's blog. I never knew walking could make me that important. Anyway, folks, don't believe everything you read.

Artie out.

Locked - People Without Powers Need Not Enter

You are looking at McKinley's newest soccer jock. Paul Nolan hurt his knee and will be out for the rest of the season. So, I tried out and now I'm playing striker in Tuesday's game. Hope you'll all come out and support the Striker Formerly Known as Wheels. It's been a week since those casts came off now, and it's good to be back.

In other news (maybe TMI, IDK, LOL... acronyms are the end of literacy as we know it), I never knew papercuts to be amusing. My newest hobby did stain my shirt though. What gets out blood?

Dec. 25th, 2011

My countdown starts today.

Thirteen...

... more days 'til these casts come off!

Then I'll have my belated Merry Christmas. :) Merry Christmas, everyone!

Sorry...

... If I got annoying while I was all immaclimbatreeee no1currs bout videogameznmoviesssss. Anyone wanna play Modern Warfare?

Being back in my chair, even knowing that it's temporary, has hard-core sucked this week. It was actually easier being paralyzed than being like this. At least when I was paralyzed, I could shower properly. I could get comfortable on the couch and in bed. I could maneuver my lifeless legs and sort of make use of them. These stupid ugly casts don't allow for that. Ugh.

I should feel bad about complaining. It isn't like I even have to live with this forever. But all I can think about is how this was supposed to be my chance to dance at Sectionals, and now it's not.

Nov. 23rd, 2011

Rumors are quickly flying 'round this town. No, I'm not paralyzed again, this time from the neck down. I'm at Lima Memorial, Room 213, and I've currently got my two broken legs suspended above me as I type, but my spinal cord remains intact. I guess I have to be thankful, since it is almost Thanksgiving, that I didn't wind up in my former state or worse. I'm also thankful for my wonderful girlfriend who is going to keep me company today.

Locked to People With Powers
I do kind of think this accident wasn't an accident. Maybe it was supposed to happen, only maybe it was really supposed to paralyze me again. Restore me to my natural state, to the way I was before I experienced the supernatural. I can't help but think everything's connected.

Beep, beep

So, my actual class ends at the semester, but it's already official as of today. I'm a licensed driver! Motorists and pedestrians of Lima beware. Mwah hah hah hah hah!

Locked to People With Powers

My healing abilities are gone, if the row of six stitches in my right bicep is any indication of this fact. (Now I might regret passing on my flu shot.) I have it on good authority that there is a very creepy man lurking around McKinley and inquiring about those of us who have (or, in my case, had) special abilities. If anyone has information about who this person is and what his intentions may be, please come forward with this information.

I guess I just have to be grateful for what my abilities were able to accomplish in the short time I had them. Hopefully, there will be no reversal of my power's previous effects. That doesn't seem to be the case, thank goodness. It sure was awesome, being invincible.

It's another first for me. First real job! Because tutoring is great and all, but it isn't the typical high school part-time job experience. Puck and I will be working seasonal employment alongside Britt at the toy store this holiday season. So, it might mean dressing as an elf (they liked the fact that I'm short), but that's okay. It's a real job with a real paycheck and everything. And in about a month, I won't even have to bum rides off my friends to get there!

Here you go, Sam

What up )

Nov. 1st, 2011

I need to blog more 'cause this blog is nothin' but birthday posts, y'all.

Errbody give yo shout outs to tha fabulous Ms. Jones, who celebrated her 18th birthday today! Mercedes, we love you. And I know you don't wanna hear it, but New Directions misses our fiercest former member. Hope you had a very awesome day!

(Sorry 'bout the blackout at our shared party, but it was fun up until that disaster, right? Still didn't find the lights. Mystery remains...)

Deserving of Recognition...

I found out that a really special lady had a birthday today. (Yeah, I was actually listening during morning annoucements.) I intend to show her this link tomorrow so comment with your love and appreciation.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COACH BEISTE!

Sep. 22nd, 2011

I think I'm going to have a great day at school tomorrow.

Wanna know why? )

Sep. 10th, 2011

and now for some good news...

I slept through the night. That sounds like I'm talking about a fussy infant, not myself. But whatever, the point is that I got nine hours of uninterrupted sleep. And I heard I missed a really incredible game last night. Go Titans!

Sep. 9th, 2011

So, today...

To my team:

I'm really sorry for ruining glee club today, especially for the new members who don't know me. I'm not normally the kid on the couch, screaming his head off, just so you know. I guess I need to explain a few things. Here goes. I started screaming in my sleep in the wee hours of Sunday morning, and it's been happening ever since. I didn't want to worry people so I didn't tell you guys. I wasn't actually sick on Thursday. I had an MRI and went home after. The results weren't clear so I'm going for a CT scan on Monday. I will let you guys know what I find out, whenever they can tell me.

Until then, please don't worry about me. I'm fine. Stuff like this just comes with the territory.

ETA: And I won't be at the football game tonight but - GO TITANS, MAKE ME PROUD!

Heads did roll, it was a thriller. I couldn't sing that now if I tried...

I've taken a vow of silence. :-) Actually, I cannot talk at all due to all my yelling so I'll say what I need in writing. Guys, you did me and Beiste proud. My sore throat is dedicated especially to the game's five heroes (... I totally just typed 'herpes' haha): Finn, Puck, Mike and Matt! And Sam - you were a hero on the sidelines, bro. Special mention goes to the Cheerios and Kurt for their entertaining rendition of my personal second favorite halftime performance to date. (It was awesome, but nothing tops Thriller/Heads Will Roll. Also, zombies.)

Hey, Karofsky? This one was for you.

-_- school

Gaming night is officially on for Thursday at my place, following football practice. I will focus on that, instead of thinking about school tomorrow. I know, I'm like a book-nerd, but it doesn't mean I don't prefer summer and sleeping in. All who read this are welcome to come join the fun, both girls and guys.

Ladies, we could play a little DDR if you get sick of the shoot 'em up games. And I don't mean that in a sexist way, contrary to those nasty rumors about me. There are plenty of legit girl gamers out there, I'm aware.
